Step-by-Step Process Create Remarketing Lists in Google Ads

To create audience lists for remarketing, here is the step-by-step process:

1. Login to Google Ads.

2. Click the Tools & Settings option, and then click on Audience Manager available under Shared Library.

3. Click on the + button.

4. It will open a number of options. Select the one for which you want to create the audience list. For example, if you want to do remarketing for website visitors, click on Website visitors.

5. On the next page, start with entering the audience name.

6. Visited page is used to define particular pages for which you want the remarketing done. You can select from the list of rules (as shown in the image below).

Advanced Google Ads Remarketing List Creation

You can also create custom combination lists of audiences for remarketing. Here is how to do it:

1. Login to Google Ads.

2. Click the Tools & Settings option, and then click on Audience Manager available under Shared Library.

3. Click on the + button.

4. From the dropdown, click on Custom combination. Custom combination lists allow you to combine selecting audience lists in an AND, OR, or NOT relationship. The role of creating custom combinations is to set up advanced audience lists for remarketing.

5. From the audience lists, you can select specific lists and then retarget them on an AND or OR basis. For example, if you have two lists, then you can select whether to target each of the two or any of the two. It also has an option to ignore the selected lists.

6. Once you have created some lists and defined the AND/OR relationship, click on Create Audience.
